United StatesInstalling the power frunk version 5.0 bought from TesBros (manufactured by Hansshow) was a little more complicated in my case with the new Model Y however, it turned out to be a great new addition. The many videos that populate the landscape of YouTube are helpful, but for me, the TesBros video was the best to watch and learn tricks to get the power frunk installed in a reasonable timeframe. Thanks again to TesBros and Hansshow for all the help. Absolutely recommend this item, it really changes the frunk to useful storage for any Tesla.

United StatesInstallation was a little scary, primarily due to the fact that the instructions are woefully lacking in important detail. Before attempting this install I watched a lot of installation videos and finally rolled the dice because I really wanted this ability. In the end, it works well so far and makes the frunk so much more useful and usable without the worry of denting the hood every time it gets closed. There were some tricks that helped like the rag down in the strut holes so nothing could fall down into never never land at the bottom. I also used an angle bit holder on a couple of extensions for my impact driver that helped tighten the strut bolts down in the hole. It is doable but takes patience and a bit of creativity.
