It comes with everything needed to install in less than 10 minutes. It also has a spring-loaded crossbar to make it easy to install and remove on the go. Designed with the same material as the OEM trims, it looks like it's always been there.
Starting in late November 2021, Chinese-made Tesla came with OEM trunk privacy screen with a track system. In 2022, Tesla started implementing the track system to US-made Model Ys as well. If you have a Model Y with the OEM trunk privacy screen, this product will not fit your vehicle.
We recommend you to check whether you have the privacy screen before placing an order to ensure that this product will fit your vehicle.

I have not yet installed the privacy shade, but I am impressed with the quality of the housing, shade material, handle and spring caps at each end. I can't wait to install it. I know it will be a real asset to hide those items I may have in the trunk area with the ability to retract when not needed. The shipping was fast with great communication. United StatesI was a little hesitant about getting it because it’s “just” 3M double sided tape holding it up but so far so good. The end bars kinda push against the mounts so it stays in place and you can see what’s in the trunk. No regrets. Thanks.
