There’s been a lot of buzz lately about tariffs, and if you’ve seen some price hikes across other brands, you’re not imagining it. We want to take a minute to be super transparent about what’s going on, how it affects us at TESBROS, and—most importantly—how it affects you.

First off, here’s the good news:

About 65% of our products are proudly made and designed in the USA. That includes all of our PPF kits, vinyl kits, and a bunch of accessories. Most of our vinyl comes from Avery Dennison, which manufactures right here in Ohio.

But (you knew there was a “but” coming)… even though the vinyl is made in the U.S., the raw materials often originate from China—which means tariffs still sneak in through the back door. And with current tariff rates sitting at 145%, the costs add up fast.

What does 145% look like?

Let’s say we buy a roll of colored PPF from a supplier in China for $1,000. With the current 145% tariff, that same roll ends up costing us $2,450. Yeah… ouch. Obviously, that’s not sustainable.

What We’re Doing About It:

  • Not raising prices—yet. We’re working our tails off to absorb as much of the cost as possible so you don’t feel the impact.
  • Diversifying our sourcing. We’re actively partnering with vendors in countries like Korea, where tariff rates are significantly lower, to keep our quality high and our prices fair.
  • Being smart with inventory. Some items may go out of stock as we navigate supply chain changes, but we promise we’re doing everything we can to bring them back quickly and sensibly.
We’re not here to take advantage—we’re here to stand with you. We’re lucky that the majority of our product lineup is built right here at home, which gives us more flexibility than most. But we also know that the entire small business and ecommerce community is feeling the pressure. So if you’ve been wondering why prices are going up everywhere, this is a big part of it.
At TESBROS, community has always been at the center of what we do. Whether it’s helping you install a kit or replacing your wrap if your Tesla gets vandalized, we’ve got your back. Tough times have a way of bringing people together—and that’s exactly what we’re leaning into.
