Lack on coverage . The small ends of the ppf specially on the bumper seems not fit as expected. It does not cover everything. I means the ppf doesn’t wrap around that small end part. This is the first part when you start on the bumper. I recommend to make it in a way where covers that the whole small section . Making it easy to lock in on both ends. Same as the hood section it is kinda need me to pull down just to get it warp around. I really had a very hard time with the bumper section but it it worth it.
Thank you for making instruction it really helps. I think I watch the whole videos 100x. Lolz save a lot of money. I will definitely buy the doors and back cover for future ppfs.
Customer service was excellent. Product wasn't so much. Both front doors PPF was cut short, it did not reach the fender. It left about a 1 inch gap uncovered on the door along the fender. I received a replacement but it was the same, short and still left the same size gap.
My experience overall was positive. I did this myself and if you have a partner to help you would make this so much better as explained in the videos. Speaking of the videos that is the best part of this overall experience they take you through step-by-step and it’s easy to follow. I did end up having one fender with some bubbles and they sent me a replacement piece. Free of charge immediately. Cannot stress how great the customer service is here.
It was very easy to use and you can see the cutouts so much better than other competitors. DIY couldn’t be more easier.
Purchased model y front kit, hood was fairly straight forward although I have a few micro bubbles. The fender was extremely difficult, very hard to stretch from the headlight down to the tow hitch, then across the other side of the car. Also had huge "fingers" that I couldn't smooth out without folding/creasing over itself. . I thought maybe the product was slightly too small and I stretched it too much. Tesbro wants another 1~ $150 to send me another fender piece.. I should have spent the extra 800 and have a professional do it. The instructional videos are great, tried the sample pieces first as recommended. The fish like curves in the fender make this a difficult task to do properly. Not sure what to do next, disaster of a weekend project 😑
