How do you remove these? 

To ensure everyone's safety, we don't post it publicly but each kit comes with a instructional guide on removing the DropLock. 

If a thief wants to get in, they can pry it out can't they? 

Yes, that is true but DropLock acts as a deterrent. It may be just enough of a deterrent to discourage thieves from stealing valuables from your trunk. 

Does this work for the Y? 

No. Since they Y has an open trunk, it's not as needed. 

I lost my removal tool. Can I get another one?
