If you’re going crazy staying at home, you’re not alone. We’ve come up with a few things we’re doing to keep ourselves sane during this pandemic.

1. Volunteer

You can’t help out at the soup kitchen, but you can help by printing 3D printed parts to create face shields to those fighitng in the frontlines. If you have a 3D printer, start printing and send your printed parts to our hub in South Carolina where we donate these face shields to local hospitals. If you have a laser engraver, help fight the coronavirus by cutting face shields. If you have sewing skills, help out by making face masks to combat the personal protection equipment shortages in the US. The point is, there are plenty of ways for you to volunteer. We’re all in this together!

3. Call Your Family & Friends

If you’re feeling depressed during the pandemic, chances are your friends and families are feeling the same. Give them a call more frequently than you do and ask them how they’re doing. Use this opportunity to strengthen bonds and relationships with your loved ones. If you have a friend or family who works in the healthcare industry, send them care packages. Many of them are working mandatory overtime with little sleep, break, and they’re the ones most at risk of getting infected. Say “Thank You” to them for their work. Those two words can go a long way.

4. Watch “Revenge of the Electric Car”

This documentary about the path to finding an alternative to diesel or gas-powered cars highlights Tesla’s earliest efforts and the struggles they faced to build their first electric vehicle, the roadster. It also gives insights about the culture in the automobile industry and how they operate. You’ll end up with a deeper appreciation of your Tesla.

5. Wash Your Car

Family and friends may not be the only one who needs attention. Your car does, too! Spend that extra time detailing your car so it’s nice and fresh for the next drive around the neighborhood. By the end of the pandemic, you might be ready to start a detailing shop!
