What happens when a well-known Tesla content creator brings his brand-new Cybertruck to our shop with just 24 hours to spare? A lot of sweat, little sleep, and one jaw-dropping transformation later, we’ve got the story (and results) to prove it.

Here’s how we wrapped Farzad’s Cybertruck in a unique PPF finish—with custom embossing, pillar deletes, and a deadline that would make any installer sweat (literally).

The Arrival: “We’re Doing What?!”

Farzad rolled into our Chattanooga shop fresh off a road trip from Austin. It was great to finally meet him in person after watching his content for so long. He showed up with one goal: transform his Cybertruck into something sleek, subtle, and unmistakably him.

The color? A special shade we call Frozen Lily from our Boring PPF line—an off-white finish with metallic flakes that adds subtle sparkle and serious depth. Not quite white. Not quite gray. Just the right amount of unique.

We didn’t stop at color. Farzad gave us the green light to emboss his FZ logo onto the panels and go bold with a pillar delete in satin black. The catch? We had just one full day to get it done.

The Plan: DIY Kits Meet Pro-Level Hustle

With Farzad in town for a podcast and only one day to spare, we kicked things into high gear. This wasn’t just a cosmetic wrap job—it was a full-on transformation under tight time pressure.

  • Day 1: Prep Day
We deep-cleaned, clay-barred, and polished the truck to make sure the wrap would adhere flawlessly. Bugs? Everywhere. But that’s part of the game. This stage is essential to mimic factory-fresh paint before any film goes on.

  • Day 2: Wrap Day
We usedthe same pre-cut DIY PPF kit that we ship to customers. Everything was cut, labeled, and ready to go. The twist? We’re also in the middle of a move, so the AC isn’t up to par yet. Extreme humidity meant we had to tweak our slip solution and techniques to adapt to the hot, sticky environment.

The Details: Embossing, Edge Work & Custom Cuts

This Cybertruck wasn’t just getting wrapped—it was getting personalized. We added embossed FZ logos on the rear, side panels, and frunk using a base vinyl layer underneath the PPF. Subtle. Classy. Custom.

We also:

  • Removed select trims to allow better wrap coverage and faster drying.

  • Tackled aggressive edges and corners using custom notching.

  • Applied satin black wrap to the pillars for a cleaner, more continuous window line.

Every edge was torched to “kill the memory” in the PPF so it would stay locked in place—crucial for a finish that looks and lasts like OEM.

The Reveal: “This Looks Incredible, Brother”

After a late night, early morning, and a team running on passion (and not much sleep), Farzad arrived for the big reveal.

His reaction? Pure joy.

“Damn! This looks incredible, brother. Thank you, man.”

He couldn’t stop staring. The Frozen Lily finish looked clean, sharp, and way easier to maintain than the factory stainless steel. Bugs and grime? No longer an issue. With PPF, he could finally enjoy his Cybertruck personalized to fit his style.

Final Thoughts: Why PPF Was the Right Choice

Farzad originally debated between a rugged vinyl look or a cleaner PPF finish. In the end, he made the right call.

PPF:

  • Makes washing easier (no more 4-hour cleaning sessions) and keeps it clean for longer

  • Protects against road debris and bug splatter

  • Adds depth and customization with embossed details

This wasn’t just a wrap—it was a full-on identity upgrade for the Cybertruck.
