Our DIY Chrome Delete Kit comes with everything you need to black out your chrome pieces. It includes pieces for all trims, mirrors, front kit, rear applique, autopilot cameras, handles, and logos. Plus, it comes with two sets just in case you make a mistake!

1.0 (2012 - September 2016): The most notable difference is the front fascia between 1.0 and 2.0. 1.0 has the rounded nose with chrome edging. 1.0 also does NOT have an interior center console installed.
2.0 (September 2016 - 2021): The front fascia is completely different with no nose. The interior also DOES include a center console.
Most customers install this kit themselves. Some experience with vinyl wrap installation is helpful, but not necessary.

No, not at all. The wrap kit allows you to apply a professionally looking wrap without disassembly.
It’s recommended to only hand wash your Tesla. Due to automatic carwashes being brushless, they tend to use heavy chemicals to break things down which can be harmful to the vinyl.
Unless you REALLY overstretched it, you can get it back to normal stretch. Vinyl is memory-based so if you just heat it, it will revert back to its original state. Use a heat gun or hairdryer and keep your heat moving in the area. You’ll see it shrink back. If you don’t see that it is shrinking back, you may have added too much heat and will have to use your extra piece.
You can use a heat gun or a hairdryer but you want to use a heat gun whenever you need to stretch or conform around awkward areas. When using heat, don’t stay in one area. Keep your gun moving and roughly 6 inches away.
The kit comes with everything you need, except a heating source. We recommend using a heat gun or even a hairdryer if needed.
Vinyl will not damage your paint. It actually adds a level of protection between the outside elements and your Teslas surface.
Yes, vinyl is a great and safe way to customize your Tesla while leased. Once you have to return it, vinyl is safe to remove and won’t damage any surfaces!
Our DIY kits are designed with beginners in mind. You do not need prior knowledge to install these kits, however, we do recommend studying our videos and familiarizing yourself with vinyl to get the most out of your kit!

CanadaIf you follow along with the videos this is easy to do. Just be prepared to go slow and steady, don’t rush it and you won’t be able to tell that the car was wrapped. That being said, the logo wrap piece are a bit small, and the trunk cover piece leaves a lot of area uncovered around the reverse white light spot. United StatesThe Tesbros Chrome Delete Kit is absolutely legit. I have a 2019 model S and applied the chrome delete myself. It took longer than the website indicates (took me close to 6 hrs versus 2), but I’m very happy with the result. It’s nice that they send you 2 of each piece. I only used one backup piece, and am saving the rest for replacement down the line if some pieces end up peeling or getting damaged. Now let’s be real, many of us aren’t professional wrappers, so you get what you pay for. Up close, you can see seams and wrinkles, but from an arms distance away, it looks really good. The online installation videos are super helpful and I’d highly recommend that you watch each before installation. Overall super pleased with the Tesbros chrome delete kit. It was a fun weekend project and made my Model S look refreshed.
