The items are a bit small for a few sections and require pulling via heating to stretch them to fit. Door handles could use longer strips that go behind the handle to improve feel
Despite the videos being straightforward, I knew it would require a relaxed mindset. I gave myself plenty of time, so I could stay patient while I work instead of rushing things. It paid off and I'm happy with how it looks.
The quality of the material - 3M 2080 is good. And I appreciated the 2 sets of the kit for errors. I had 3 main gripes with this kit, both having to do with the quality of the cuts. 1. Cuts were inconsistent on templates, some corners were not precut all the way through requiring me to cut myself of have to tear is was ESPECIALLY apparent in the rear trunk piece that needed precision for the “TESLA” lettering. 2. Similarly - the rear trunk “TESLA delete piece is absolute garbage. Not we’ll cut or made, looked terrible even when I took the time. A lot of chrome came through even when tried super carefully. I ended up removing the trim piece off the car and plasti-dipping the piece to be completely black. 3. The videos are NOT always accurate. Especially with the mirror pieces. The videos show little tabs on the two ends of a lot of the long pieces that are simply not there in the actual product. Mine all mostly had one solid piece and made it a tad harder. Which to me was sort of a lazy cop out by the company especially when showing it on the video for that part. Overall, if you can improvise and have patience and know that this $150 kit does have its quirks then get it. My only other option was to pay a shop $1300 quoted to do this. I’m very glad I did it with this kit because it looks great and I took the time to make it work. But it had its frustrating moments. You pay for what you get and I do think it was worth it. The 2 lost stars are mainly because I think the seller of this kit was a bit misleading in the quality of some of the cuts.
