    Ok, not great

Materials are top knotch but I had two issues with my kit. The fender camera overlays were short and stretching the film enough to cover disrupted the finish of the film. My lower window strips came on the backing sheet and were not cut all the way through causing misc pieces of paper to get stuck to the film. One strip was ruined but I was able to save the second.

De Chrome kit for Tesla Model 3 Carbon Fiber

The car looks good & mostly the kit was easy to apply. You did provide 2 passenger top chrome sets rather than a passenger & driver set. I did manage to stretch it slightly so it fitted. The rear V shaped window set didn't match the pattern of the pieces top & bottom of the passenger door, so had to cut 2 new ones from a piece I purchased (not sure if this was due to using the passenger top trim on the Driver side). The wing mirrors went together well, apart from the last piece as it seemed too curved, so had to cut a straighter piece.

    Easy Chrome Delete

First and foremost, I love the TESBROS line of products! I wrapped the interior dashboard, door, and center console of our Tesla Model 3 with TESBROS carbon fiber vinyl wrap and just love it! This is what convinced me to chrome delete the exterior of the vehicle. Quality of the vinyl wraps: Quality of the wraps are great. They are precision cut and come in a matte, satin, and gloss. I chose the satin which I think is a cross between the matte and gloss. The wraps are very forgiving and easy to handle. This allows you to accurately apply/re-apply the vinyl before committing to squeegee and firmly press down on the vinyl. Fortunately, TESBROS includes additional vinyl wraps in case you make a mistake. Instructional Video: Watch and re-watch the videos before and during each application. The videos are paramount to ensuring you are properly installing the vinyl wraps. Amount of time to allocate: Time and patience is the key to a successful installation. At the onset, I watched all of the videos which gave me a rough idea as to how long it might take me to do a full chrome delete. It took me a total of ~9 hours to do a chrome delete to the exterior of the vehicle. That included the window trimming, door handles, turn signal lights, mirrors, and front/back badging. The order I installed everything was not exactly to the order of TESBROS instructional video. I decided to carve out 2 days to do an install in the following order: Day 1: (5 hours) 1. Door trims (driver and passenger) 2. Door handles and turn signals) Day 2: (4 hours) 1. Driver and Passenger Mirrors 2. Front/Back badging I chose to defer the mirrors for last because I saw there were 10 small pieces per mirror, making the mirror much more highly complex, time consuming, and requiring a clear mind and patience. Also, by choosing to install the vinyl wraps for the door trim and door handles, this would give me an opportunity to get a feel for the material especially since the pieces were bigger. Granted, I have installed the interior vinyl wraps before, but wasn’t sure if the exterior wrap was a different beast to handle and tame. Also, taking care of the sections that I thought might be easier to install would allow me to pivot on my installation plan if needed. Note that I saved the badging for last since I wasn’t sure if I wanted to chrome delete the badging. I ultimately did, and knew it was going to be a breeze to install. This took minutes to install btw. One last note. Have that hair dryer or heat gun. It is an essential tool when molding the vinyl to areas that are curved or to pieces that connect to each other. Summary: You are going to frickin’ love how you car looks (especially a black car) once you’ve deleted the chrome.
