Is this PPF a gloss or stealth (matte) finish?

We currently only offer the Gloss finish, however we will release the stealth (matte) finish in the near future. Please sign up below for updates and notifications for this release!

Can I install PPF over ceramic coating?

Unfortunately, PPF will not adhere to ceramic coating. We do not recommend installing if you already have a ceramic coat.

Do I have to disassemble parts of the car to apply the wrap?

Not at all! Our kit was carefully designed to fit without removing anything or having to use a knife on the car.

What’s the return policy on this kit?

We understand that people change their minds. In our kit, we provide a Test Kit that allows you to try it out using smaller pieces. If it’s not for you, as long as you didn’t open anything else, you can return the full kit for a full refund.

How long does PPF last?

We use Avery Supreme Defense PPF that is rated for 10-years of durability. The film will not yellow or crack over time.

Do I need prior experience with PPF?

Nope! We designed this kit for the average Joe. We include everything you need to learn as you go.

How long does it take to install?

This can depend on the person, but we estimate it will take 8-12 hours if installed alone.

What’s the difference between your kit and other PPF kits?

We include in-depth courses that walk you through the installation process. Other kits require prior PPF knowledge, while ours is completely beginner-friendly.

Can I put ceramic coating over PPF?

Absolutely. There are many ceramic coatings that are specifically for PPF which will make the car even easier to keep clean!

We provide a Practice Kit that allows you to try it out using smaller pieces. If it’s not for you, as long as you didn’t open anything else, you can return the full kit for a full refund.

Super easy and professional looking

As Long as you follow the steps in the video, you will be satisfied with this purchase. Amazing how it turned out. I did wish I had another mirror kit cause it I didn’t stretch the bottom piece far enough. Thanks Tesbros for another great product!

Awesome product! Great tutorials!

I did it! PPF'd my Model Y...boom! done! Video guides helped a lot. Wouldnt be able to complete the project without the videos. I had lots of frustration with the bumper install but i discovered a technique when stretching the material. You need dry hands to stretch the material easily. You can also wipe the PPF with microfiber towel.

Amazing DIY PPF

Why pay someone when you can do it yourself? Highly recommend prepping the vehicle prior to installing it. The installation videos were very helpful. I did this in my garage and it took me an entire weekend. I had my car detailed Friday afternoon and started installing it on Saturday. Two pieces I HIGHLY recommended getting help with are the hood and front bumper. The hood was challenging mostly because of its size. I recommend that if you attempt the hood to spray the heck out of the slip solution on the hood and front and back of film. Doing this will prevent the film from sticking together and glide easily on the hood while you try to position the film. The front bumper is DEFINITELY challenging to do it with just one person. You'll need at minimum two people, but recommend having three people. For me it was difficult because I'd adjust one corner of the front bumper and the other would slip. Overall the installation was great and I'm happy with the result. I used the savings from paying someone else to install the film and treated myself to an electric bike :-).

Great sets of tutorial for DIYers

I like that the video went over as much details and tips as it can so when I try it I have plenty of chance to try out the test kit then try really work on the main piece.

Good product, but some challenges

Tesbros does a great job designing, marketing, and packaging their products. I don't have any gripes with the quality of the product or it not being as-advertised. I do have two comments that potential buyers should be aware of though: 1) I live in Ontario Canada, where there cars have a front license plate (in addition to a rear license plate) which means that the bumper PPF didn't fit properly. This was an oversight on my part (as well as Tesbros) in that it prevented a "perfect fit" (i had to use scissors to make-it-work.) That was a tough realization to have midway through installation. Oops! 2) While all the instructional content is excellent, IMO i think it's an exercise that takes 3 people to do properly (at least for the bigger pieces like the bumper and hood). I'll explain the difficulties encountered: - spraying the car with slip - returning to the product to peel it off the sticker - strategically peeling from both sides (to avoid stretching) - and then returning to the car (only to find it has dried out) - and then juggling the spray bottle and PPF to re-wet the car, only to then realize the large PPF itself has inadvertently folded and started sticking to itself.... super frustrating! A third person to be on spray bottle duty would have been a life saver. Obviously this isn't an issue for the small pieces (which you could easily do solo). But I think the instructional videos mislead a little on how difficult the big pieces will be. And the "practice PPF" they include in the package aren't really representative of the difficulties that will be encountered with the larger pieces. (mind you this is my first time applying PPF, so i can't be certain that everyone would have the same experience as me). I found it ironic that a big emphasis was removing dirt, cleaning every nook and cranny, etc... but when it was time for the real job with the big pieces, a lack of knowing what to expect and the difficulties definitely resulted in some contamination from all the fiddling (especially making the cutout for the license plate). I guess we'll see how many years I actually get out of it. All this to say that i DO think it's a quality product and recommend buying it. But be aware that it is very challenging without a third person, and you don't want to discover this mid-way through. And buyer beware if you live in Ontario or any other jurisdiction with a front license plate.

DIY Front End PPF Kit

Hello, I had a lot of anxiety before starting. I think I memorized the videos but still watched them as I started. It took 2 days to complete. Day 1 I got both fenders, hood and mirrors done, day 2 bumper, headlights and fog lights… wow I was one tired dude.. I am 71 and my back was killing me BUT I am so happy with the results and thanks to the great videos it was a success. If I could do this anyone can. Looking back it was as difficult as I thought it was going to be. Now I want to do the entire car!! You all made it possible with the great videos. Thank you and would highly recommend you to everyone!! Steve Cone
