Post Installation
- Don’t wash your Tesla for the first 7 days after installation.
- If there are tiny bubbles, as long as they are smaller than a nickel, they will go away in several weeks.
- If you have any fingers (wrinkles) along the edges of your install, view the video below to learn how to get those down.
- The PPF can be removed without damaging the paint. Check out the video below to learn how.
After Care
- Once cured, the two bucket method is the recommended method of wash. Watch the video below to learn how. It is NOT recommended to go through an automatic car wash since that can involve harsh bristles and chemicals.
- Using a pressure washer is fine as long as it is 3-feet away.
- We recommend using a PH neutral care care products like our Car Shampoo and Waterless Wash.
- Remove bug splatters and bird droppings as quickly as you can as it can cause etchings on the film. You can use our Waterless spray with a microfiber to remove it. You can also pour hot water, let it sit for a minute and wipe it down with a microfiber cloth.
- Surface scratches and swirl marks in the film will heal over a period of time. To accelerate the process, pour warm water (not boiling) over the desired area, that will help the upper most layer of the film to morph back into its original state.
